The Greenfields Network is based in the Waikato - a hub for world-class research, ideas and innovation. We are a member driven organisation of active investors seeking quality deal propositions. Greenfields is not an investment fund - each member makes their own investment decision based on the deals presented to the Network.

Waikato Innovation Park acts as the conduit to Greenfields - they source, receive and assess deal propositions and can support applicants to become investment ready. Peter Maxwell is a Business Development Manager with many years of experience in the banking, technology transfer and start-up industries. Peter has successfully coached over 30 start up companies in his role with the University of Bristol and as the Director at their SetSquared Centre.

Our membership comprise founders, CEO’s, business leaders and corporates who have built world-class organisations. Some of these members are willing to take an active role in investee companies - so along with much needed capital, successful proposals will also gain the expertise and experience of some of the region’s most respected business people.
